Unrecognized villages
The core activity of the Forum is the fight for recognition of unrecognized Beduin villages all over the Negev. The members visit the villages, write to the authorities, and plan joined actions, from lobbying to filing legal claims.

Derigat, partial view
We work together to appraise problems and bring these to the written and electronic media, as well as to the government.

Some of the villages are physically and socially quite developed, while others are mere clusters of tents or makeshift houses.

The fact that these villages do not get any format recognition implies that the inhabitants do not enjoy services other citizens receive as a matter of right (schools, roads, health care, water, electricity, phones). As these villages can not get any building permits, housing may be destroyed by court order at any moment.  This is an unbearable situation.
