Research Interests
Research interests are centered on fundamental theoretical and numerical research in turbulence and fluid mechanics. A main current thrust is anisotropic turbulence in stratified and rotating flows. Particular aspects include:
Large-scale atmospheric and oceanic circulation
Anisotropic turbulence, jets and Rossby waves in planetary atmosphere
