- Epidemiology and Clinical Research. Methodology and design of clinical trials. Various fields of Internal Medicine: Cardiology (outcomes research), metabolism of lipids in pregnancy, new methods of mechanical ventilation, sepsis (epidemiological research), potential ,application of statins in prevention and treatment of sepsis.
- Establishment of multicenter sepsis registry. The goal of this project is to assess the current clinical practice, epidemiology and outcomes in patients hospitalized with sepsis in intensive care units.
- Evaluation of lipid levels prior and during gestation and association with adverse pregnancy outcomes and subsequent development of true dyslipidemia. Population based study.
- Assessment of association between osteoporosis and incidence of breast cancer. Population based study
- Evaluation of the factors associated with recurrent hospitalization in internal medicine departments.
- Association between statin treatment and incidence of infectious diseases.
- Assessment of factors associated with the development of Clostridium Difficille infection.
