Education

  • 1973 B.Sc. - Biology, Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, Beer-Sheva, Israel. (Within the framework of Academic Reserves, Israel Defense Forces). 1976 M.Sc. - Human Genetics, Sackler School of Medicine, Tel-Aviv University. (Supervisor: Prof. Nechama S. Kosower). Thesis: "Glucose-6- phosphate Dehydrogenase Deficiency in E.coli behavior under normal and stress conditions" 1980 D.Sc. - Molecular Biology, Technion Institute of Technology, Haifa. (Supervisor: Prof. Ruth Ben-Ishai. Thesis: "Research on constitutive and inducible postreplication repair mechanisms in E.coli and the role of DNA gyrase in this process".
