Research Interests

  • Nano-photonics and nonlinear optics, plasmonics and metamaterials

Research Projects

  • 1. super-resolution microscopy assisted by plasmonic nano-particles
  • 2. magnetic and negative index metamaterials - new designs and loss compensation
  • 3. ultrafast manipulations of short optical pulses in photonic crystals and plasmonic waveguides - time reversal, short pulse generation and ultrafast switching.
  • 4. nonlinear focusing in plasmonic waveguides
  • 5. harmonic generation in plasmonic particle clusters
