Thesis title: "Raising our Children: Community Strategies for Coping with Orphans and Vulnerable Children in Rural Malawi" Dissertation advisors: Prof. Eyal Ben Ari and Dr. Alexander Weinreb.
  • 2004 - M.A in Anthropology, Department of Sociology and Anthropology, The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel. Thesis title: “Not an Easy Life: Illness Experiences of Women Migrant Workers Living with HIV/AIDS in Israel”. Thesis advisor: Dr. Don Seeman. Graduated magna cum laude.

  • “Healthcare Delivery in Limited-Research Settings”, a dual sited study (Malawi and Burundi) on the impact of international policies, humanitarian assistance and the resulting new health services on clients, health care professionals and rural communities.
  • "Impact of the Global Polio Eradication Initiative on Strengthening Routine Immunization and Primary Healthcare", a multicounty study based at Middlebury College and funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
