  • Precision machining and accuracy of machines.
  • Physical sources of errors: geometrical and kinematic errors, contact and elastic deformations.
  • Parallel mechanisms: applications in machine tool technology, metrology, and robotics.
  • Form-generating processes, including gear and helicoid machining.
  • Solid modeling: application for design calculations of machines and machining processes.
  • 3D metrology: functional accuracy approach, spatial dimensional chains, computer aided tolerancing.
  • Concurrent engineering: FMS modeling.
