Vitamin D
Induction of 1,25-dihydroxyvitamin D receptors by estrogen in osteoblasts and colon cells.
Synthesis of 1,25-dihydroxyvitamin D in inflammatory cells.
The auto / paracrine mode of action of 1,25-dihydroxyvitamin D in Inflammatory cells
Inhibition of proliferation and induction of differentiation of cancer cells by 1,25-dihydroxyvitamin D and by vitamin D analogs.
Vitamin D status and metabolism in uremia, in rickets, in fracture healing and in the elderly.
Lipids and Lipoproteins
Lipoprotein and apoprotein status in populations at risk for cardiovascular diseases.
The hypocholesterolemic effect of aluminium hydroxide containing antacid.
Transport of lipoproteins to the peritoneal cavity in continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis patients.
Changes in lipoprotein profile and the prevalence of cardiovascular risk factors in Bedouins exposed to a westernized life pattern. Homocystein as a risk factor for cardiovascular diseases.
