  • Induction of 1,25-dihydroxyvitamin D receptors by estrogen in osteoblasts and colon cells.
  • Synthesis of 1,25-dihydroxyvitamin D in inflammatory cells.
  • The auto / paracrine mode of action of 1,25-dihydroxyvitamin D in Inflammatory cells
  • Inhibition of proliferation and induction of differentiation of cancer cells by 1,25-dihydroxyvitamin D and by vitamin D analogs.
  • Vitamin D status and metabolism in uremia, in rickets, in fracture healing and in the elderly.
  • Lipids and Lipoproteins
  • Lipoprotein and apoprotein status in populations at risk for cardiovascular diseases.
  • The hypocholesterolemic effect of aluminium hydroxide containing antacid.

The relationship between skin burns, vitamin D deficiency, and bone fractures.
