Research Interests

  • CURRENT RESEARCH IN PROGRESS: 1. The molecular basis of the syndrome of congenital hypoparathyroidism, dysmorphism, and growth and developmental retardation (HRD). 2. Clinical, biochemical and genetic characterization of an apparent new syndrome: cystinuria, retardation, (growth & development), and seizures- 2p16 deletion syndrome. 3. The Endocrine basis of CIPA - congenital insensitivity to pain and anhydrosis. 4. The molecular basis of autoimmune thyroid disease in a large Bedouin family 5. Subclinical hypothyroidism in children – psychological effects REVIEWING OF MANUSCRIPTS AND RESEARCH PROPOSALS: 1999- Acta Pediatriaca Scandinavica 2000, 2001, 2003- Journal of Pediatric Endocrinology & Metabolism 2001- German-Israeli Foundation for scientific research and development (GIF)
