My main areas of interest in research are; 1. Bio-Psycho-Social problems related to health and illness: Quality of Life perceptions, Coping mechanisms with certain health problems, Symptom-Control management of Chronically ill and terminally ill patients. 2. Application of Nursing Theories to Clinical Practice. 3. Trans-cultural Health research. 4. Development of nursing profession. 5. Nursing education.
