diagnose his patient. Thus, from para-naturel tools such as astrology to visual observation of the patient\u2019s physiognomy and his \u201cproducts\u201d: urine, feces, blood and vomits, all were used to diagnose the etiology and decide on the best curing strategy.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-21860994 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"21860994\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<ol><li>Astrolabe, an instrument used in astrology also to diagnose diseases and decide on treatments based on astrology. This one is in Hebrew (many physicians were Jews but the Rambam banned such practices) 1300<\/li><li>Uroscopy jars c.1800 Examining urine\u2019s color, consistency, smell and even test was considered one of the main diagnostic tool for millennium<\/li><li>Phrenology bust: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.britannica.com\/biography\/Franz-Joseph-Gall\">Franz Joseph Gall<\/a> (1758\u20131828) theory that the skull\u2019s conformation indicates the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.britannica.com\/science\/mental-hygiene\">mental<\/a> faculties and traits of character.
