Welcome to the Medical Systems Biology Lab

The medical systems biology group developes and applies computational systems biology methods for the study of human health. We focus on combining data from genomics, transcriptomics, metabolomics and other high-throughput methods with clinical databases and knowledge bases.

Current projects include:
  • Developing Clinical data- and knowledge-bases as a relevant information source in Systems Biology
  • Phenotypic landscapes and their corresponding mutational landscapes: lessons from cancer and human evolution
  • Realistic modeling of clinical data: toward simulated clinical repositories
  • Robustness and fragility: the systems biology of Mendelian Disease Genes
